Schools and organisations provide their own NFC-enabled Android phones or tablets to run the RollCall Bus Field App. Devices must support NFC (Near Field Communication) to enable student card tap interactions. Existing school-owned devices can be used, or new devices can be provisioned — no specialised or proprietary hardware is required.
The school is responsible for device management and internet connectivity, whether via Wi-Fi or mobile data. RollCall Safety does not supply devices or data plans.
